    * * * NEW FOR 2022 - Introducing the new GAS MONGREL HYBRID (GMH) - SEE DETAILS BELOW... * * *
    WHY ARE THE WR RANGE OF BRAKES SO GOOD? Thanks to 19 years in fluid mechanics, using numerical analysis, CFD and 3D modelling to unlock the secrets of a muzzle brake. a) Making best use of pre-load gas. b) Don't lose all the gas after bullet passes first port set. c) Consider the bullet votex thru the brake. d) Step chambers to proportion gas distribution to the subsequent ports. e) Bounce gas off gas to reduce felt blast. f) Direct gas in the most efficient laminar flow. g) Exit gas velocity and direction used to build pressure pockets to push gas to other exit ports for controlled gas volume that diminishea per port set. h) Minimise gas vacuum.
    Helmholtz resonance is used to determine that harmonics will be induced by every brake depending based on vent orientation and gas volume and velocity - ramp up, peak and ramp down. Ramp up is the most critical as this is when the bullet is still in the barrel. The WR brakes are designed by caliber, and by ranging in the most common velocity of these calibers, to minimise any additional harmonic influences. No brake in the world takes into account these relevant considerations.

    ALL WR BRAKES OFFER maximum brake, best case muzzle blast reduction, and are light weight.The hard black anodised 7075 grade aluminium material considerably helps to dissipate barrel heat away from the muzzle up to 5 times faster than steel brakes, which help minimise muzzle shape elongation from one of the thinnest and important section of the barrel.
    THERE IS NO POUND FOR POUND MUZZLE BRAKE IN THE WORLD THAT COMES CLOSE TO THE GAS MONGREL. IT'S JUST SCIENCE...
    ============================= BREAKING NEWS FOR 2022 ==============================
    New for 2022, the WR GAS MONGREL HYBRID (GMH)... weight approx 40-45 grams.
    WR GAS MONGREL HYBRID (GMH) may now be the best brake in the world, depending on perspective. The GM is the best in class for recoil reduction. But, the GMH is nearly equally as good for recoil reduction but also incorportates the many popular needs of both competitive shooters and varminters. If this brake were made by anybody else, it would sell at a considerably highter price. WR GAS MONGREL HYRBID A$174ea. AVAILABLE NOW.
    The Gas Mongrel Hybrid (GMH) was created to be the best of both the WR Ultra Comp and the WR Gas Mongrel muzzle brakes (each the world best in their class).Using the best of WR design specs from the GM and UC brakes, the GMH more so polarises gas direction and dispersion to increase gas velocity to the sides of the bullet axis, reducing felt blast while continuing to minimise muzzle movement during bullet exit.If your needs are for maximum brake, minimal muzzle movement and bounce, minimal ground disturbance, reduced felt blast and slimline brake for practical applications, the Gas Mongrel Hybrid is the best pound for pound brake in the world. It doesn’t get better than this.Reduce muzzle walk with increasing shot-to-shot heat build-up. The GMH is made ULTRA lightweight, thanks to being made from 7075 Aluminium, and a massive increase in surface area will considerably help absorb and dissipate heat away from the muzzle area.Like all WR brakes, we continue to campaign the non-integrated clock nut. Why? Our math and simulations show modulus of elasticity is causing many disturbances we wish to avoid. WR are advocates for a straight brake thread to a jam nut off the brake shoulder as the BEST fitment method.
    - BORE sizes: - Up to 6mm (0.243), - Up to 7mm (0.284), - Up to 30 cal (0.308). COMING SOON: Up to 33 cal, Up to 37 cal, Up to 41 cal (0.416 etc). Larger calibres require the bore to be reamed. This is a free service at time of order... - THREADS: UNEF: 1/2x28, 5/8x24, 3/4x24. Metric: M14x1, M18x1. COMING SOON: 7/8x24, 1"x24. - Parrallel barrel fixing thread 16mm (0.63") long.

AMAZING!!! - Length: Approx 73mm/ 2.87” long. - Dia: Minimal tapered body, 26mm rear to 28mm front. - Porting: 2 pre-load chambers that lead to the exit bore and 4 CONICAL negative angled ports. 3x3 increasing ports designed to work gas-against-gas and direct lazy gas to the last port for maximum recoil reduction at bullet exit.
    - Recoil reduction: Over 80 cm² of negative surface area results in Approx 70 to 84% recoil reduction, depending on barrel gas pre-load volume, bullet body length and bullet exit energy. - Vertical jump: Approx 85 to 93% reduced, depending barrel twist (centrifugal momentum). - Vertical bounce: No additional bounce imposed. Less than nett 2% gas directed vertically vector upward. - Helmholtz resonance: Minimised in-barrel time additional resonance during expelling pre-load gases by 3 step chamber design (minimising additional live fire barrel movement). - Shooter comfort: With GM like recoil reduction, increased blast comfort and greater agility, the GMH is a brake suitable to nearly every application, with equal capabiltiy. If the shooter is outdoors (recommended), and uses ear plugs and ear muffs, then the blast is widely reported by the many users as completely acceptable. - Use: For competition and championships where excess recoil will directly affect maximising a potential result and muzzle blast importance not as critical. Maximises the ability to keep sights at the target looking for bullet flight vortex and bullet impact. Typically used for bullet impact sighting type matches such as Practical, ELR, Steel Challenge, PRS, Head Hunter, etc.

    WR ULTRA COMP (SLICK AND SLIM)...the baby of the bunch, but reduces recoil like nothing in it's class. The WR Ultra Comp is a brake designed for the competitive shooter who needs a balance of all the qualities a muzzle brake should offer - less recoil, jump. blast, minimal ground disturbance in competitive practical, tactical and target applications.A$122ea LOW STOCK.
    WR GAS MONGREL (GM) THE BEST IN THE WORLD (note see new GMH) ...is the ultimate in recoil brake recoil for up to 30 calibre...since 2014. This unit is indiscriminating, unforgiving, and ignores everything except the one thing it does best – reducing recoil and muzzle jump. Turns a 300 Win Mag into a 22… NOTHING BRAKES LIKE THE GM (but, see GMH below...).A$153ea. LOW STOCK. If this brake were made by anybody else, it would sell at a considerably highter price.
    WR GAS MONGREL MAGNUM (GMM) This is simply the WR Gas Mongrel, but approx 30% larger. Bores available for 7mm up to 37cal. Its design is to simply allow the best recoil reducing brake design to be used on much larger calibres with greater gas volumes and better fit to larger diameter barrels. The best brake in the world made bigger...A$174ea. LOW STOCK.
    Waters Rifleman Ultra Comp Muzzle Brake for the practical shooter who must move the muzzle through objects and minimise blast due to confined spaces
    Considered the best muzzle brake in the world the WR Gas Mongrel GM is made for ultimate recoil reduction and minimal blast designed by science proven by result
    The biggest reduction with the Waters Rifleman muzzle brake. But the GM Magnum means same or better reductions for bigger calibers and wider larger dia barrels

    NOTE: WR recommends always removing the brake to clean both the barrel and the brake. NOTE: Ensure solvents and obstructions etc are free from the barrel and brake before firing. WR recommends to use a reputable gunsmith to fit and clock the brake. WR does not claim a specific method of clocking as correct. No matter if the fit is brake-to-barrel, jam nut, crush washer, shim or o-ring, what ever method is employed, it should be done CAREFULY with gunsmith direction and advice.
